The Pre-Commissioning Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all pre-commissioning activities for Aramco projects. This includes ensuring that all systems and equipment are installed, tested, and ready for commissioning in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all pre-commissioning activities for assigned projects.
Develop pre-commissioning procedures, method statements, and schedules.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
Coordinate with construction, commissioning, QA/QC, and HSE teams.
Review and approve test packages, checklists, and documentation.
Supervise activities such as:
Flushing & cleaning
Hydrotesting
Drying & air blowing
Leak testing
Chemical cleaning (if required)
Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of pre-commissioning milestones.
Identify and resolve technical issues during pre-commissioning.
Ensure all systems are handed over properly to commissioning team.
Maintain proper documentation and reporting to client (Aramco).
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in oil & gas industry.
At least 5+ years in a similar role (Pre-Commissioning Manager).
Strong experience in Saudi Aramco projects is mandatory.
In-depth knowledge of Aramco standards (SAES, SAEP, GI).
Experience in pipelines, process plants, or refinery projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Certifications (Preferred):
Saudi Aramco Approved / Experienced
PMP (Project Management Professional)
NEBOSH / IOSH (Safety Certification)
