Core Responsibilities as a QC Electrical Engineer
? Ensure full compliance with ARAMCO standards, project specifications, and applicable international
electrical codes (IEC, NEC, NEMA, etc.).
? Supervise and monitor daily electrical activities on-site to ensure compliance with approved construction
drawings and project specifications.
? Guide and coordinate with site supervisor to ensure high-quality workmanship aligned with Aramco
requirements and safety standards.
? Implement and review Saudi Aramco Typical Inspection Plans (SATIPs), Method Statements, Inspection &
Test Plans (ITPs), and QA/QC procedures.
? Conduct inspections of electrical installations based on the latest IFC drawings and technical specifications.
? Review and verify the installation of conduits, cable tray, duct banks, and other electrical systems in
accordance with IFC drawings and approved construction details.
? Ensure proper cable routing, dressing, termination, and segregation practices for LV/MV systems.
? Verify installation, testing, and commissioning of low and medium voltage cables, including continuity,
insulation resistance (IR), and high-potential (Hi-Pot) testing.
? Inspect electrical grounding systems and layouts, ensuring proper installation and compliance with standard
testing parameters.
? Verify installation of exposed and concealed raceways including PVC, EMT, RMC conduits, and cable
tray/cable ladder systems.
? Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, test results, quality observations, and daily QC reports.
? Assist in the identification, documentation, and closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in coordination
with QA/QC management.
? Provide support during internal audits and client inspections by preparing and presenting required quality
documentation.
? Participate in weekly coordination meetings with project management and construction team to address
quality-related issues and progress.
? Support the resolution of technical queries related to electrical systems and installations at site.
? Verify appropriate labeling, handling, and storage of electrical materials to prevent damage, deterioration, or
non-compliance.
? Confirm that all installed and on-site materials conform to project specifications and ARAMCO’s quality and
engineering requirement.
