Prior experience in laundry is mandatory
Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesLaundry Processing: Sorting soiled linens by fabric type and color, treating stains, and operating washers, dryers, and ironing equipment.Quality Control: Inspecting items for cleanliness and damage, folding or hanging items neatly, and repairing damaged linens (e.g., mending).Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning lint filters, monitoring detergent levels, and performing basic maintenance on machines to ensure safety and prevent breakdowns.Inventory & Distribution: Tracking linen inventory, storing clean linens, and distributing fresh supplies to guest rooms or departments.Customer Service: Greeting guests (in hotel settings), handling special requests, and managing guest laundry/valet services.Safety & Sanitation: Adhering to safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, fire safety) and maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
