Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
* Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and reconciliations
* Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies
* Coordinate with auditors and support during audits
* Prepare VAT filings and statutory submissions (as applicable in Bahrain)
* Provide regular financial updates and insights to management
* Maintain proper documentation and filing systems
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
* Ability to interact and communicate effectively with management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience working in Bahrain or the GCC is an advantage
