We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
#Key Responsibilities:
* Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of manufacturing equipment and machinery
* Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment operates in optimal condition
* Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
* Conduct routine inspections and address issues as they arise
* Carry out calibration and verification of machinery, equipment, and measuring instruments
* Maintain tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and proper working condition
* Recommend improvements to machinery, equipment, and production processes to enhance safety and efficiency
* Develop maintenance programs and suggest equipment replacement when necessary
* Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Health & Safety procedures
* Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
#Requirements:
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing environment
* **Preferably experience in the steel industry
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
* Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery
* Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
