Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for the technical oversight and execution of solar energy projects. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards
* Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments
* Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
* Prepare and review permits, and compliance documentation
* Provide progress reports to all stakeholders
* Collaborate with procurement teams on equipment selection and vendor management
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
* 3-5 years of experience in solar project execution
* Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical engineering principles, and construction management
* Experience with AutoCAD drawings
* Understanding of electrical codes (NEC, IEC) and solar industry standards
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent spoken and written English skills
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Licenses:
* CRPEP
* EWA Engineer License
* Any other EWA License
