Responsibility;
•Conducting inspection of excavation, backfilling and compaction as per IFC drawing
•Perform slump test for fresh concrete on-site as per ASTM-C143
•Checking internal temperature of fresh concrete on-site as per ASTMC1064
•Making and Curing Concrete Test Specimens for compressive strength in the field as per ASTM C31
•Supervision of Excavation work backfilling work with approved fill material as per SAES-A-114-1
•Develop and ensure adherence to Inspection and Test Plans for all civil activities
•Verify that hold points and witness points are adhered to during the execution phase
•Inspection of Formwork before starting of concrete purring work asper ACI 347R and project specification
•Inspection of Concrete work as per SAES-Q-001
•Submitting WIR (work inspection request) and MIR (Material Inspection request)
•Arrange for third-party lab testing when required and review the test results
•Verify material test reports (MTRs) for compliance with project requirements
•Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address quality-related issues
•Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure the delivery of materials meeting the quality standards
•Identify non-conforming materials and activities
•Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and documented properly
•Monitor rework or rectification of non-conforming works
•Conduct on site necessary test of materials as per ACI and AASHTO Specifications
•Supervision and Inspection of Concrete work in Foundation as per SAES-Q-005
•Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports to QC manager
•Inspect and approve construction materials, such as concrete, steel, asphalt and other related to civil activities, to ensure they meet project requirements
•Ensure testing of concrete activates during execution i.e. compressive strength, cylinder casting, slump test, temperature and air content test etc. as per standards
