My name is Syed Muslim Shah, and I am currently working as a Safety Officer with experience in shutdown, maintenance, and construction projects in Saudi Arabia, including my current role with Ma’aden.
I hold an Associate Degree in Computer Science from the University of Peshawar. I also have professional safety certifications including NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, and IOSH, which provide me with strong knowledge in hazard identification and risk assessment.
In my professional experience, I conduct site inspections, ensure permit-to-work compliance, and supervise high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space entry, lifting operations, and work at height. I also deliver toolbox talks to improve safety awareness among workers.
One of my key achievements is contributing to a Gas Field Development Project that completed over 2 million safe man-hours without major incidents by maintaining strict safety controls on site.
As a Safety Officer, my goal is to maintain a safe working environment and achieve zero accidents.
