We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Supervisor with strong knowledge of NACE standards and corrosion control practices. The job mainly involves supervising corrosion protection, surface preparation, painting/coating quality, safety compliance, and inspection activities while ensuring all work is carried out according to project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily site activities related to coating, painting, blasting, and corrosion protection works.
Ensure all activities comply with NACE standards, client specifications, and project quality requirements.
Monitor surface preparation, coating application, and inspection processes.
Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports and progress updates.
Review and verify coating procedures, material approvals, and inspection reports.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and protective materials.
Monitor workforce productivity and provide technical guidance to site personnel.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies and safe working practices at all times.
Identify technical issues on-site and provide corrective solutions promptly.
Participate in client meetings, audits, and quality inspections.
Maintain project documentation, records, and daily work reports.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in coating inspection, corrosion control, or industrial maintenance projects.
Strong knowledge of protective coating systems, surface preparation standards, and QA/QC procedures.
Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, marine, or industrial projects is preferred.
Ability to read specifications, and inspection procedures.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting documentation
