Key Responsibilities
Hardware Diagnostics & Repair: Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctions in robotic cameras, crawler tractors, push-cameras, control panels, and tether cables.
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues quickly to minimize equipment downtime.
Software Management & Support: Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot camera monitoring software, video overlay systems, and data logging applications.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine servicing, cleaning, and calibration of all camera systems and related accessories.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Rigorously test all equipment post-repair to ensure full functionality, video clarity, and software synchronization before it is deployed to the field.
Inventory & Documentation: Maintain a log of all repairs, keep track of spare parts inventory, and report recurring technical issues to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Diploma (DAE) in Electronics or Mechatronics, or a strictly relevant technical field.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience in repairing electronics, robotics, or specialized camera systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (like multimeters) and precision repair equipment (soldering).
Strong understanding of electronic circuitry and mechanical assemblies (e.g., camera motors, nozzle mechanics, and tracking sensors).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure.
