We are seeking experienced Automation & Control Engineer to lead the setup, commissioning, and optimization of PLC & SCADA-based automation systems for a new water proofing coatings and construction chemical manufacturing plant The role involves end-to-end responsibility—from system design to implementation and plant commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement complete PLC-based automation systems for paint production lines
• Develop and configure SCADA systems for real-time monitoring, control, and reporting
• Automate critical processes including:
o Raw material dosing and transfer systems
o High-speed dispersers and mixers
o Reactor temperature and agitation control
o Batch processing and recipe management
o Filling and packaging lines
• Prepare I/O lists, control philosophy, and P&ID integration
• Program PLCs (Siemens / Allen Bradley / Schneider preferred)
• Develop HMI/SCADA screens (WinCC / Ignition / Wonderware)
• Integrate field instruments (flow meters, load cells, level sensors, temperature sensors)
• Ensure safety interlocks and compliance with industrial standards
• Lead installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems
• Troubleshoot and optimize plant automation performance
• Train plant operators and maintenance teams
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical /Electronics/ Instrumentation / Automation Engineering
• 5–10 years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in paint, coatings, chemicals, or batch processing plants
• Strong hands-on experience in:
o PLC programming and commissioning
o SCADA development and integration
o VFDs, sensors, and industrial communication protocols
• Experience in batch process automation and recipe control is highly preferred
