Responsible for supervising and managing production activities in the switchgear factory to ensure efficient manufacturing operations, product quality compliance, timely delivery, and continuous process improvement in accordance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities in the switchgear factory.
- Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved efficiently.
- Monitor the manufacturing process of low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear panels.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, quality, and maintenance departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Review production drawings, specifications, and technical documents before manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and factory regulations.
- Monitor manpower allocation and optimize production efficiency.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Supervise assembly, wiring, busbar fabrication, and testing activities.
- Ensure proper utilization of materials, tools, and machinery to minimize waste.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Support factory inspections, audits, and customer visits when required.
- Train and guide technicians and production staff on manufacturing procedures and safety practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Experience in switchgear or electrical panel manufacturing for 5 years.
- Good knowledge of LV/MV switchgear systems.
- Strong understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.
