Role Overview
The technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic road blockers, bollards, arm barriers, and gate automation systems. The role requires strong hands‑on technical skills, field experience, and the ability to diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, and service hydraulic road blockers, rising bollards, and arm barrier systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per manufacturer standards.
Diagnose faults in hydraulic pumps, hoses, cylinders, valves, and control panels.
Troubleshoot electrical issues including sensors, limit switches, photocells, and control wiring.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure system reliability and safety compliance.
Replace damaged components, perform hydraulic oil changes, and adjust system pressure.
Coordinate with the control room/operations team during testing and commissioning.
Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and parts replacement records.
Ensure all work is performed following Saudi safety regulations and company procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in hydraulic gate systems or similar equipment.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, electrical wiring, PLC basics, and mechanical assemblies.
Experience with brands such as Magnetic, FAAC, BFT, Came, Hormann, or similar (preferred).
Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Must be available for local transfer (Iqama transferable).
