Our company is seeking a talented and motivated Baker / Bread Maker to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of bread production, from preparing and baking a variety of breads to maintaining the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare, mix, knead, proof, and bake a wide variety of breads and baked goods from scratch
* Follow and maintain recipes while ensuring consistency in quality and taste
* Develop and test new bread recipes and product ideas
* Monitor dough fermentation, baking times, and product quality
* Manage inventory and ensure the kitchen is properly stocked with baking ingredients and supplies
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
* Participate in product planning and development
* Ensure adherence to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Qualifications:
1. Minimum 2 years of experience working in a professional bakery or bread-making environment
2. Strong understanding of bread baking techniques, dough handling, and fermentation processes
3. Experience working in a fast-paced environment
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Passion for baking with a creative and detail-oriented approach
6. A meticulous eye for quality, consistency, and presentation
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
