• Assist in the preparation of pizza dough, sauces, and toppings as per approved recipes and standards.
• Support the Pizzaiolo during pizza assembly and the baking process.
• Ensure all ingredients are properly stored in accordance with company procedures and food safety standards (FIFO).
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils at all times.
• Assist in basic kitchen operations, including cutting, portioning, and preparing ingredients.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in line with company policy and local authority requirements.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and verifying items against purchase requests.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain an organized kitchen environment.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 1 year experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred.
• Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in pizza preparation and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic English communication skills preferred
