Key Responsibilities:
Receive, verify, and implement work permits before starting any job activity.
Ensure all permit requirements, safety precautions, and control measures are properly followed at the worksite.
Coordinate with HSE officers, supervisors, and permit issuers for work authorization and job execution.
Conduct site inspections before work starts to identify hazards and unsafe conditions.
Monitor ongoing work activities to ensure compliance with safety rules and permit conditions.
Ensure workers use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Verify gas test requirements for confined space entry and hot work activities.
Maintain effective communication between operations, maintenance, and safety departments.
Stop unsafe work activities immediately and report hazards, incidents, and near misses.
Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency response procedures.
Ensure proper isolation, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and equipment shutdown procedures are followed before work begins.
Monitor hot work, confined space entry, excavation, lifting, and electrical work activities according to PTW procedures.
Maintain permit records and ensure permits are closed properly after work completion.
Follow company safety policies, international safety standards, and client requirements.
Support accident prevention and promote a strong safety culture at the worksite.
