Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea, etc.)
Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently
Take customer orders and handle payments (cash/card systems)
Provide friendly, attentive customer service
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and seating areas
Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and cups
Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards
Customize drinks based on customer preferences
Promote menu items and upsell when appropriate

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of coffee preparation (training often provided)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and cleanliness
Teamwork and reliability
Basic math skills for handling transactions

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in food service or hospitality
Familiarity with espresso machines and brewing techniques
Knowledge of different coffee beans and roasting styles

Physical Requirements:

Standing for long periods
Lifting light to moderate items (milk cartons, supplies)
Working early mornings, weekends, or holidays

Flexible shifts (part-time or full-time)
Early morning openings or evening shifts depending on the café
