Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to manage food, beverage, and operational costs for our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will monitor inventory, control expenses, analyze variances, and help improve profitability while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor daily food and beverage costs.
Conduct inventory audits and stock reconciliation.
Analyze wastage, portion control, and variance reports.
Prepare monthly cost reports and profitability analysis.
Verify supplier invoices and purchase records.
Coordinate with kitchen, purchasing, and finance teams.
Ensure proper costing of menu items and recipes.
Maintain accurate records in inventory and accounting systems.
Recommend cost-saving measures without affecting quality.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Cost Controller in restaurants or hotels.
Strong knowledge of food costing and inventory management.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting/POS systems.
Good analytical and reporting skills.
Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP or restaurant management software.
Knowledge of local supplier and purchasing procedures.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
