We are looking for a talented Line Cook to join our team at Dallah Hospital – Al Ahsa.
Responsibilities:
• Bake, roast, broil, and steam fish, chicken, vegetables, and other food
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
• Determine quantities to be cooked and size portions accordingly
• Consult with Dietitians regarding preparation of modified diets
• Undertake menu planning in consultation with the Chef
• Cook soups, main courses, rice, and vegetables, and prepare salads for patients and cafeteria
• Chop, peel, cut, and dice vegetables, meat, chicken, and fish items
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work area at all times
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital, hotel, or high-volume kitchen
• Food safety/hygiene certification is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
