Civil Draftsman responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and construction plans for oil & gas projects including Aramco and non-Aramco standards. Supports engineering and construction teams by producing accurate civil and structural drawings for site execution, fabrication, and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for oil & gas projects.
Develop site layouts, grading plans, foundations, drainage systems, trench details, and underground utility drawings.
Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and project requirements into technical drawings.
Coordinate with civil engineers, project managers, and site teams for drawing revisions and updates.
Ensure drawings comply with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, ASTM, and international standards.
Prepare material take-offs and quantity calculations from drawings.
Modify existing drawings based on site conditions and client comments.
Maintain proper documentation control of drawings and revisions.
Support construction teams with technical drafting solutions during project execution.
Requirements:
Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
3–7 years of experience as Civil Draftsman in oil & gas, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and drafting software.
Experience with Saudi Aramco standards is preferred.
Familiarity with structural, concrete, steel, and underground utility drawings.
Ability to read and understand engineering specifications and construction standards.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of PDS / MicroStation is an advantage.
Experience in refinery, pipeline, plant, or EPC projects.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
