Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles and trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Ensure timely delivery and pickup according to schedules.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
- Maintain delivery records, logs, and necessary documentation.
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays immediately.
- Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, or management teams regarding deliveries and -routes.
Requirements:
- Valid driving license appropriate for trucks/commercial vehicles.
- Proven experience as a truck driver or company driver is preferred.
- Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel when needed.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading if required.
- Basic communication and record-keeping skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience driving heavy vehicles or long-distance transportation.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
- Clean driving record.
