We are seeking a candidate with strong experience in procurement within the construction and contracting industry, capable of managing the sourcing and procurement of mechanical materials, equipment, and services for ongoing projects.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement activities for mechanical materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and site teams to identify procurement requirements
• Review technical specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements and standards
• Evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate pricing, delivery, and commercial terms
• Track procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Support cost optimization while ensuring quality and project timelines are maintained
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during tendering and project execution phases
✅ Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in procurement within the construction/contracting industry
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and equipment procurement
• Experience in vendor evaluation, technical bid analysis, and contract negotiations
• Good understanding of project specifications and industry standards
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
• Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly Urdu and Hindi, will be considered an advantage
