We are hiring a Sales Associate – F&B Retail for a premium food retail outlet. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in food & beverage retail who can deliver a high-end customer experience and maintain excellent product presentation standards.
Only candidates with prior F&B retail experience will be considered.
Job Purpose:
To provide exceptional customer service, support sales, and maintain premium retail standards in a fast-paced food & beverage environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Experience
- Welcome customers warmly and provide a premium service experience
- Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs
- Offer detailed product knowledge, including ingredients and storage guidance
- Upsell and promote featured items, gift options, and special offers
Sales & POS Operations
- Handle billing through POS systems accurately and efficiently
- Process cash, card, and digital payments responsibly
- Manage returns/exchanges in line with store policies
Product Handling & Merchandising
- Ensure products are well-presented in line with premium retail standards
- Replenish shelves and displays while maintaining visual appeal
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and expiry dates
Store Hygiene & Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the store at all times
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly
- Ensure display areas and packaging stations are neat and organized
Inventory Support
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing stock properly
- Follow stock rotation practices (FIFO)
- Report low stock and minimize product wastage
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with team members to meet sales targets
- Support smooth daily operations, especially during peak hours
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment
Requirements
- Mandatory: Previous experience in Food & Beverage retail (premium or specialty retail preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a professional appearance and attitude
- Basic POS and cash handling knowledge
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Work Experience not less than 5 yrs in the same field
