• Develop project plans, establish detailed budgets, and track costs and timelines to ensure milestones are achieved.
• Review and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), process flow diagrams, layout designs, and engineering drawings.
• Supervise on-site activities, coordinate with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) contractors, and align work with safety and QA/QC.
• Conduct mechanical completion walkthroughs, resolve punch list items, and ensure all work complies with OSHA and local environmental regulations.
• Track system/subsystem pre-commissioning progress and transition completed plants over to the operations and maintenance teams.
• Identify potential project roadblocks (supply chain delays, design changes) and implement corrective actions.
• Assist Engineering manager in establishing project objectives, procedures, data collection methods, and performance standards within parameters of corporate policy.
• Prepare scheduled or necessary updates of construction activities and determine personnel and equipment requirements.
• Create and administer testing protocols for monitoring project performance.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors promptly of any construction schedule changes and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
• Oversee budgetary, scheduling, and project databases, and report regularly to project manager on progress as well as on problems that could significantly affect cost or schedule.
• Manage compliance with standards and specifications for quality control and assurance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• 5 – 7 years’ experience in Chemical plants construction
• Familiarity with process equipment (reactors, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and pipelines.
• Strong cross-functional team leadership, contract management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Filipino, Pakistan nationality preferred.
