🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Equipment Installation — Set up new commercial kitchen appliances, ensuring proper electrical, gas, and water connections.
• Preventive Maintenance—Perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, calibration & component replacement to extend equipment lifespan.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics — Identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools.
• Repairs & Adjustments — Repair or replace faulty parts such as motors, thermostats, burners, compressors, valves&control boards.
• Safety Compliance — Ensure all equipment meets safety, sanitation, and fire prevention regulations.
• Documentation — Maintain accurate service logs, repair reports, and parts usage records.
• Customer Support — Provide guidance to kitchen staff on proper equipment use and care.
• Emergency Response — Respond quickly to urgent breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.

• Technical Knowledge—Strong understanding of elect., mechanical & refrigeration systems.

🎓 Education & Experience
• Technical diploma or certification in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or appliance repair.
• 1–3 years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment preferred.
• Certifications such as EPA refrigeration license or manufacturer specific training are a plus.
