We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter (Woodworker / Joiner) to join our team at Al Satter Office Furniture. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in fabricating, assembling, and finishing high-quality office furniture, including desks, workstations, cabinets, tables, shelving units, and custom joinery products. You will play a key role in ensuring our furniture meets quality standards, design specifications, and customer requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 
Key Responsibilities
• Fabricate and assemble wooden components for office furniture (desks, tables, cabinets, workstations, partitions, and storage units).
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate dimensions and quality.
• Operate woodworking machinery (saws, routers, planers, sanders, CNC machines if experienced) safely and efficiently.
• Perform precise joinery work, including cutting, shaping, fitting, gluing, and fastening wood and related materials.
• Install hardware (hinges, handles, locks, slides, etc.) and ensure smooth functionality.
• Sand, finish, and apply stains, paints, laminates, or veneers to achieve desired aesthetic and durable results.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Collaborate with designers, production supervisors, and installation teams for custom orders and projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment, following all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with on-site installations or repairs when required.
• Support inventory management of wood, materials, and tools.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Experience: 3–7+ years of hands-on experience as a Furniture Carpenter or Joiner, preferably in an office or commercial furniture manufacturing company.
• Proven portfolio or examples of high-quality woodworking, cabinetry, or custom furniture.
• Strong knowledge of different wood types, laminates, MDF, particleboard, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to work with modern tools and machinery; CNC or CAD experience is a plus.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting moderate weights and standing for long periods.
• Attention to detail, precision, and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
• Valid Bahrain work visa or transferable sponsorship (preferred for non-Bahraini candidates).
• Basic English communication skills; Arabic is advantageous.
