CAM Programmer Setter CNC Team Lead Opportunity – Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

SEKO Group is an Italian multinational company with operations in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Our Industrial Processes Business Unit specializes in the manufacturing of API 675 and API 674 metering and process pump solutions for Oil & Gas industry applications, as well as chemical injection skid packages for the Power, Energy, and Water Treatment sectors.

We are currently looking for a CAM Programmer Setter CNC Team Lead to join our manufacturing team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Job Description:

The CAM Programmer Setter CNC Team Lead will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and executing CNC programs using ESPRIT CAM software and Creo Design. The role includes CNC machine setup, first-article proving, machining process optimization, and ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules, while leading and supervising a team of 6 CNC Operators.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop, generate, and optimize CAM programs using ESPRIT for CNC milling and turning machines.
Utilize Creo Design to review 3D models, engineering drawings, and design jigs and fixtures.
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and 3D models to define effective machining strategies.
Set up, prove, and run first-article parts on CNC machines while ensuring dimensional accuracy and process stability.
Operate and support CNC machines with Fanuc control systems, including:
Milling Machines: NHP 4000, DNM 5700
Turning Machines: PUMA 2600 with Y-axis
Lead, supervise, and support a team of 6 CNC Operators, including task allocation, technical guidance, and performance monitoring.
Ensure proper machine setup, tooling readiness, and adherence to production schedules.
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters to optimize machining cycle time and tool life.
Perform program simulation, verification, and on-machine proving to prevent collisions and machining errors.
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process-related issues during setup and production activities.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams during first-article inspection and approval activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, and machining cycle times.
Ensure compliance with company quality procedures, HSE requirements, and machining standards.
Maintain accurate documentation for CNC programs, setup sheets, tooling lists, and revision control records.
