ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a COMMERCIAL MANAGER to lead and optimize our PURCHASING AND VENDOR MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS across multiple branches. The role involves STRATEGIC PROCUREMENT, MULTI-CATEGORY BUYING, VENDOR NEGOTIATIONS, AND COMPETITIVE PROMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee PURCHASING AND PROCUREMENT across all 7+ BRANCHES
Execute MULTI-CATEGORY BUYING STRATEGIES to optimize product mix and margins
NEGOTIATE LARGE-SCALE DEALS with vendors to secure competitive pricing and terms
Plan and manage PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGNS to drive sales and customer engagement
Monitor MARKET TRENDS and ensure compliance with KSA RETAIL STANDARDS
Collaborate with BRANCH TEAMS to ensure consistent product availability and quality
LEAD AND MENTOR a team within the commercial/purchasing function
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 7+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in PURCHASING/COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT in reputable Hypermarket or Supermarket groups
Proven experience in MULTI-CATEGORY BUYING, LARGE-SCALE VENDOR NEGOTIATIONS, AND PROMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT
Fluent in ARABIC, HINDI, AND ENGLISH (speaking, reading, and writing)
Strong ANALYTICAL, NEGOTIATION, AND DECISION-MAKING SKILLS
Experience with ERP SYSTEMS (ODOO PREFERRED) is a plus
Excellent COMMUNICATION, LEADERSHIP, AND TEAM MANAGEMENT SKILLS
Deep understanding of KSA RETAIL STANDARDS AND MARKET DYNAMICS
