Their core responsibilities involve diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing routine preventative maintenance, and replacing worn components like brake pads, fluids, and filters to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

1. Diagnostics & Troubleshooting Computerized Scans: Using digital OBD-II scanners and laptops to read trouble codes and interpret dashboard warning lights (e.g., "Check Engine" light).System Inspections: Manually testing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components (brakes, steering, suspension, exhaust).Test Drives: Taking vehicles on the road to evaluate performance, identify handling issues, and verify that completed repairs fixed the problem.

2. Maintenance & Servicing Fluid Changes & Flushes: Replacing engine oil, coolant, transmission fluid, and brake fluid. Filter Replacements: Swapping out air, cabin, and fuel filters. Tire Care: Inspecting tire pressure and tread wear, rotating tires, and performing wheel balancing and alignments. Battery & Spark Plugs: Testing electrical output, cleaning terminals, and replacing spark plugs or ignition coils.

3. Repairs & Replacements Braking Systems: Replacing worn brake pads, rotors, calipers, and hydraulic lines. Engine & Drivetrain: Swapping out parts like alternators and belts, or performing major engine and transmission overhauls.
