Experienced Fiber Optic Technician with good knowledge of fiber installation, splicing, troubleshooting, and testing. Skilled in OTDR testing, power meter testing, fault finding, patching, labeling, and cable management. Familiar with single mode and multi mode fiber, ODF termination, patch panels, and rack dressing. Able to read basic network diagrams and follow fiber layouts properly. Knowledge of cable routing, indoor and outdoor fiber work, and maintaining proper documentation. Also familiar with basic networking concepts including VLAN, subnetting, switch and router configuration, and structured cabling.
