We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Bread Maker to join our bakery production team. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of bread preparation, dough mixing, proofing, baking techniques, and the ability to maintain consistent quality, taste, hygiene, and presentation standards in a fast-paced bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare different types of bread, rolls, buns, and bakery items as per standard recipes.
Measure and mix ingredients accurately to prepare dough according to production requirements.
Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, slicers, and other tools safely and efficiently.
Monitor dough fermentation, proofing time, baking temperature, and baking quality.
Ensure consistent taste, texture, size, shape, and presentation of bread products.
Maintain food quality, portion control, and production standards at all times.
Follow proper hygiene, food safety, and sanitation procedures in the bakery area.
Check raw materials and report stock requirements to the supervisor or kitchen management.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section, equipment, and work area.
Minimize wastage and support cost control by using ingredients properly.
Assist in preparing daily bakery production as per business requirements.
Coordinate with the kitchen or production team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef, Bakery Chef, or management.
✅ Requirements:
Previous experience as a Bread Maker, Baker, or Bakery Assistant in a bakery, restaurant, hotel, or F&B environment is preferred.
Good knowledge of bread making, dough preparation, proofing, and baking techniques.
Ability to operate bakery equipment safely and properly.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and production schedules accurately.
Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and willingness to work as part of a team.
