Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Maker
• Strong knowledge of Sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
• Team player with good communication skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Job Descriptions:
• Prepare a variety of sushi items including maki, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty rolls
• Handle and slice raw fish and seafood with precision
• Prepare sushi rice with proper seasoning and consistency
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and stored according to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station at all times
• Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients
• Ensure all dishes meet presentation and quality standards before serving
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations strictly
• Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
• Assist in developing new sushi recipes and menu items
