Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition and RFQ through evaluation, negotiation, purchase order, expediting, delivery and invoice reconciliation
Identify long-lead items and place orders early to protect the installation schedule
Source locally and internationally from overseas instrument manufacturers and suppliers
Manage shipping, freight forwarders, shipping documents and insurance
Handle customs clearance in KSA: SABER conformity, FASAH and Bayan submissions, duty and VAT
Prepare and evaluate RFQs and tenders and recommend award with documented justification
Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranty and spare parts
Qualify new suppliers, maintain the approved vendor list and monitor supplier performance
Expedite open POs and escalate any slippage that threatens the schedule
Coordinate letters of credit, bank guarantees and advance payments with Finance
Maintain audit-ready procurement records and report spend against budget
Handle warranty claims, returns and replacement of defective equipment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline
5 to 9 years of procurement experience with direct responsibility for international purchasing and imports
Hands-on experience with Saudi import compliance (SABER, FASAH, Bayan) or comparable GCC import experience is strongly preferred
Solid knowledge of incoterms, shipping documentation and customs clearance
Strong negotiation, documentation and follow-up discipline
ERP / procurement systems and advanced MS Excel
CIPS, CSCP or equivalent certification preferred
Transferable Iqama and valid Saudi driving license preferred
