Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop cutting dies, plastic molds, and forming tools in accordance with production
requirements .
Prepare and modify technical drawings using CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Manufacture, assemble, repair, and maintain molds and dies .
Operate and supervise conventional and non-conventional machining processes.
Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical estimations for new projects .
Select appropriate materials and components based on product and tooling requirements .
Read, interpret, and improve engineering drawings and technical specifications .
Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure tooling performance .
Troubleshoot mold and die issues and implement corrective actions .
Monitor tooling performance and recommend improvements using current manufacturing
technologies .
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards .
Support and guide junior technicians and shop-floor teams as required .
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field .
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in mold design and mold making, preferably in cutting dies, plastic
molds, and forming tools.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office .
Strong knowledge of mold manufacturing operations and machining processes.
Familiarity with metallurgy and material selection.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
