Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, and ensuring full compliance with Saudi Arabian tax regulations.
You must possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, expert in Tally Accounting system and have hands-on experience with VAT filing within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Book keeping & Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
2. VAT Compliance: Manage the entire VAT lifecycle, including the preparation and accurate filing of monthly/quarterly VAT returns in accordance with ZATCA requirements.
3. Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow).
4. Day-to-Day Accounting: Process invoices, manage expense reports, and monitor daily transactions to ensure financial integrity.
5. Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits.
6. Compliance: Ensure all financial practices adhere to local Saudi Arabian laws and regulations.
7. Reporting: Generate insightful financial reports for management to support decision-making processes.
Required Qualifications:
1. Experience: 5–6 years of total experience in accounting and book keeping.
2. Saudi Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience working within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
3. VAT Expertise:Thorough knowledge of Saudi VAT laws, filing procedures, and ZATCA compliance.
4. Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
5. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
6. Communication:English & proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
