Key Responsibilities
Measure, mark, cut, slit, and prepare industrial belts as per job requirements.
Perform belt splicing, joining, fabrication, and repair work.
Operate belt fabrication machines, tools, and workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
Install belt accessories such as guides, cleats, profiles, and other fittings as required.
Inspect finished belts to ensure dimensional accuracy, workmanship, and quality standards.
Complete job cards, production records, and related documentation.
Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working conditions in the workshop.
Follow company safety procedures and work instructions.
Provide occasional onsite support for belt joining, repair, and customer service work.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of industrial experience in belt fabrication, belt splicing, or related industrial workshop operations.
Experience with conveyor belts, timing belts, transmission belts, or similar industrial belting products.
Ability to use measuring tools, cutting equipment, and belt fabrication machines.
Basic understanding of technical drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.
Good workmanship, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit to work in workshop and occasional onsite industrial environments.
Preferred Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
