Plumbers install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and water-based systems for residential and commercial buildings. They ensure these systems safely manage potable water distribution and the removal of waterborne waste.
Key Responsibilities
• Installation: Assemble and install plumbing systems, water heaters, and appliances during construction or remodeling.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose plumbing malfunctions, such as leaks, clogs, and low water pressure.
• Repair & Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and fix broken pipes, fixtures, or drainage lines.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all work meets local safety codes, building regulations, and environmental standards.
• Emergency Response: Respond to urgent service calls for issues like burst pipes or gas leaks.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret schematics to determine exact plumbing layouts.
• Manual Dexterity: Strong physical stamina and mechanical aptitude to work in tight or awkward spaces.
• Problem-Solving: Capability to identify complex system issues quickly and accurately.
• Duty: 8 Hours + Overtime
• Weekly one day off.
• Salary BHD130.000 + Overtime.
