A car cleaner and polisher (or auto detailer) thoroughly cleans, restores, and protects vehicle interiors and exteriors. They are responsible for vacuuming, shampooing, washing, and machine-buffing cars to eliminate defects, restore paint shine, and ensure a flawless finish.
Key Responsibilities
• Exterior Washing & Decontamination: Pre-wash, hand-wash, and dry vehicle exteriors to remove dirt, grease, and road tar.
• Paint Correction & Polishing: Operate rotary buffers and polishers to remove swirl marks, light scratches, and oxidation, restoring the vehicle's factory gloss.
• Waxing & Protection: Apply waxes, sealants, or ceramic coatings to preserve the paint and protect the finish from environmental damage.
• Interior Detailing: Deep vacuum seats, carpets, and trunks; shampoo upholstery, treat leather, and clean windows and dashboard trim.
• Quality Inspection: Inspect vehicles for cosmetic defects or missed spots to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness.
Essential Requirements
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift heavy equipment.
• Product Knowledge: Understanding of various cleaning chemicals, waxes, compounds, and how to safely use them on different surfaces (leather, clear coats, plastics).
• Equipment Proficiency: Experience operating specialized tools like pressure washers, steam cleaners, rotary polishers, and wet/dry vacuums.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye to spot minor scratches, stains, and blemishes.
• Duty: 8 to 10 Hours.
• Weekly one day off.
• Salary based on experience (BHD120.000 to 150.000)
