1. If university graduate, totally minimum 7 years inspection experience;
If high school diploma, totally minimum 10 years inspection experience.
Out of mentioned working experience above, minimum 3 years of QC supervisor experience.
2. Experience shall cover installation and welding of on-plot piping (not pipeline, not infrastructure), including piping supports or steel structure welding.
3. Working experience shall be related to one of industry of oil, gas, and petrochemical, infrastructure, communication. Oil and gas or petrochemical will be preferred.
4. Experiences in Saudi Aramco projects is preferred and highly recommended.
5. Competent to organize and manage QC inspectors to cover inspection job on site, to coordinate with construction and QC manager to close NCRs, to directly report to QC manager.
6. Shall be certified as an American Welding Society (CWI), CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector or higher, and ASNT Level II, or Saudi Aramco approved equivalent, .
7. Shall have a demonstrated background and thorough knowledge of codes such as ASME B31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME Section V and IX, API 620 and 650, AWS D1.1.
8. Good Knowledge on Nondestructive Testing (NDT), welding process, WPS, PQR, WQT, , and has ability of interpreting RT films and analyzing root cause for welding defects.
9. Good knowledge on procedures relevant welding/ piping erection works.
10. Experience in preparation of QC procedures and developing ITPs, WPSs and developing new WPSs.
