Key responsibilities include:
Surface Preparation: Cleaning, sanding, grinding, and filling imperfections. Masking areas to protect them from paint.
Material Mixing: Blending paints, primers, and clear coats to achieve the correct color, thickness, and consistency.
Equipment Operation: Using hand-held spray guns and compressors, adjusting nozzles for pressure, and operating within a controlled spray both.
Application: Spraying primers, base coats, and finishing coats smoothly, ensuring no drips, runs, or uneven patches.
Quality Control: Inspecting the finished product for defects and rectifying any flaws.
Maintenance: Cleaning spray guns, hoses, and booths, and safely storing hazardous materials.
Safety Compliance: Following all occupational safety protocols, including wearing protective gear (respirators, suits) and managing ventilation.
