• Project Execution: Supervise the installation, termination, and programming of fire alarm control panels (FACP), detectors, sounders, and modules across the construction site.
• Testing & Commissioning: Conduct loop testing, troubleshoot faults, and perform cause-and-effect testing to ensure flawless system operation before final handover.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforce global safety protocols and ensure all work fully complies with standards such as NFPA 72 or the relevant local British Standards (BS) and regional Civil Defense authorities.
• Team Leadership: Manage the daily workloads of technicians and apprentices, handle timesheets, evaluate performance, and provide technical training.
• Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Inspect ongoing work, verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications, and maintain meticulous installation records for certification.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with project managers, main contractors, and clients to resolve on-site challenges and report on progress.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: 3–7 years of progressive experience in fire alarm system installation or maintenance, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
