Dragon Wok Restaurant is a fast-growing Chinese and Asian cuisine restaurant located in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We specialize in authentic Chinese dishes, including wok-fried specialties, noodles, fried rice, seafood, dim sum, and our signature Dragon Momo. Position: Chinese Chef
Location: Dragon Wok Restaurant W.L.L., Kingdom of Bahrain
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare authentic Chinese cuisine including wok dishes, noodles, fried rice, soups, seafood, and appetizers.
• Develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Manage kitchen inventory and control food costs.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food products.
• Coordinate with restaurant management regarding menu planning and special promotions.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Chinese Chef in a restaurant or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of authentic Chinese cooking techniques and sauces.
• Experience operating commercial wok stations.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to create innovative Chinese and Asian fusion dishes.
• Experience in dim sum, seafood, and specialty Chinese cuisine will be an advantage.
