Reservation Duty

The primary duty of a reservation staff member is to manage and coordinate bookings while providing excellent customer service.

Key Reservation Duties:

Accept and process reservation requests from customers.
Check availability of rooms, seats, tables, or services.
Enter reservation details accurately into the booking system.
Confirm, modify, or cancel reservations as requested.
Provide information about rates, facilities, services, and policies.
Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
Maintain accurate reservation records and customer information.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure reservations are fulfilled.
Handle special requests and customer complaints professionally.
Process payments, deposits, and booking guarantees when required.
Follow up on pending reservations and confirmations.
Promote additional services, upgrades, or special offers.
