• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the related field.
• Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Air
Conditioning.
• Must have experience in installation, maintenance and repair of air
conditioning systems including window AC, split AC units, package and
ducted units.
• Must be able to perform preventive maintenance according to scheduled
plans.
• Must be able to clean air filters, coils, blowers, and condensers.
• Must be able to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Must be able to repair or replace compressors, motors, fans, thermostats,
relays, and control systems.
• Must be able to perform gas charging, leak detection, and refrigerant
recovery.
• Must be able to respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls.
• Must be able to measure airflow, temperature, pressure, and electrical
parameters.
• Must be able to conduct system performance testing after repairs or
installations.
• Must ensure systems operate efficiently and within manufacturer
specifications.
• Must be able to maintain maintenance logs and service reports.
• Must be able to report major faults, spare parts requirements, and
equipment conditions to the supervisor.
• Must be able to follow work orders and close tasks in CAFM or maintenance
systems.
• Must be able to handle refrigerants according to environmental regulations.
• Must have Knowledge of AC systems, electrical controls, and refrigeration
cycles.
• Shall be able to read and understand equipment diagrams and maintenance
manuals, knowledge of international AC codes and standards.
• Must have problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure and flexible schedules.
