Level L3 (Experienced)
Function Storage, Backup & Disaster Recovery
An experienced Storage Administrator to own our enterprise storage infrastructure, backup
operations, and disaster recovery strategy. This role requires deep expertise in HPE Nimble, Veeam Backup & Replication, Tenable vulnerability management, and DR planning. You will ensure data availability, integrity, and recoverability across all environments.
Storage Infrastructure
• Administer HPE Nimble Storage — volume provisioning, snapshots, replication, performance tuning
• Manage SAN/NAS environments — iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, SMB
• Monitor and optimize storage performance — IOPS, latency, throughput, capacity
• Handle storage lifecycle — tiering, deduplication, compression, capacity planning
• Administer additional platforms — NetApp, Pure Storage, Dell EMC as applicable
Backup & Recovery — Veeam
• Own Veeam Backup & Replication — job configuration, scheduling, monitoring, and alerting
• Manage backup repositories, scale-out backup repositories (SOBR), and cloud-tier offload
• Implement and test Veeam Instant Recovery, bare-metal restore, and granular item recovery
• Maintain Veeam ONE monitoring — report on SLA compliance, RPO/RTO adherence
• Perform regular backup integrity testing — restore drills, verification jobs
Disaster Recovery
• Design and own the DR strategy — RPO/RTO definitions, failover/failback procedures
• Implement and test DR runbooks — full DR drills at minimum quarterly
• Configure and maintain replication — Veeam replication jobs, storage-level replication (Nimble)
• Maintain DR site readiness — infrastructure, networking, compute, and storage alignment
• Document DR procedures and ensure all stakeholders are trained and aware
