I have 25 years of Gulf experience in the Oil & Gas sector, with extensive expertise in managing construction activities, fabrication, and erection of piping systems, steel structures, and static equipment.
My experience includes project execution and coordination, including conducting coordination meetings with clients, subcontractors, and in-house teams, and coordinating with various disciplines to ensure smooth project execution. I have worked closely with engineering teams for technical clarifications, procurement teams for material follow-up, and production teams to monitor daily progress and ensure adherence to project schedules.
I am experienced in monitoring project progress, comparing planned and actual achievements, and implementing corrective actions as needed. I also coordinate between fabrication workshops and site teams to ensure the timely availability of resources, materials, and equipment in accordance with erection plans. My focus is on achieving project targets, maintaining schedule compliance, optimizing resource utilization, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all fabrication workshop activities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Coordinate fabrication of piping spools, structural steel, supports, and static equipment.
- Review engineering drawings, isometrics, material take-offs, and fabrication specifications.
- Ensure compliance with approved procedures, client requirements, and industry standards.
- Supervise fabricators, welders, fitters, riggers, machine operators, and support personnel.
- Monitor welding activities and ensure adherence to approved WPS, quality, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction departments.
- Control material usage and reduce fabrication waste through effective planning.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections, and risk assessments within the workshop.
- Monitor productivity, prepare progress reports, and implement corrective actions when required.
- Train and mentor junior staff, apprentices, and local workforce personnel.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of workshop equipment and tools.
- Support project execution by coordinating fabrication, assembly, and shipment activities.
