Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh for an Engineer Technician Safety Officer . The role involves supporting the installation, operation, and maintenance of technical systems and infrastructure, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and compliance standards. Daily tasks may include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams on technical deployments, and documenting technical procedures and maintenance records. As a Safety Officer, responsibilities include monitoring workplace conditions, conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and supporting the implementation of health and safety policies. The position also requires collaborating with management to improve processes, assisting in training team members on safe work practices, and responding to incidents in accordance with company protocols.
Qualifications
Strong technical background in engineering or IT systems, with hands-on experience in installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment or digital infrastructure.
Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident reporting.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and drawings, and to maintain clear and accurate technical documentation.
Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity to diagnose issues and implement practical solutions under time constraints.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders in a professional manner.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Engineering, Technology, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field; safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are an advantage.
Previous experience in a technician, engineer, or safety-related role in an on-site environment is preferred; experience in technology-driven or industrial settings is beneficial.
Willingness to work on-site in Riyadh full time and comply with all company and regulatory
