• Verify that surface preparation meets the required cleanliness and profile standards.
• Ensure proper mixing, handling, and application of coating materials.
• Coordinate with QA/QC inspectors for inspections and approvals.
• Review drawings, specifications, and coating procedures before execution.
• Monitor coating thickness, curing, and environmental conditions during application.
• Maintain productivity and ensure work is completed within project schedules.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce HSE regulations at the work site.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of blasting and painting equipment.
• Monitor material consumption and control wastage of coating materials.
• Prepare daily progress reports and manpower reports.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to avoid work conflicts and delays.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, international standards, and project procedures.
• Identify and rectify coating defects such as runs, sags, pinholes, and holidays.
• Train and guide painters, blasters, and coating crews on proper work practices.
