Reservation Staff Duties and Responsibilities

Receive reservation requests by phone, email, online platforms, or in person.
Process, confirm, modify, and cancel bookings accurately.
Check availability of rooms, tables, seats, tours, or other services.
Provide customers with information about rates, packages, facilities, and policies.
Maintain and update reservation records in the booking system.
Ensure customer details and special requests are recorded correctly.
Send booking confirmations and follow-up communications.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve reservation-related issues.
Coordinate with front office, sales, housekeeping, transportation, or other departments as needed.
Monitor booking status and occupancy levels.
Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reservation reports.
Assist with upselling rooms, packages, or additional services when appropriate.
Follow company procedures regarding payments, deposits, and cancellations.
Deliver professional and courteous customer service at all times.
