We are seeking an experienced HR professional with a background in the fabrication/manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Bahrain Labour Law, LMRA regulations, and end-to-end HR operations. The role requires managing employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and workforce administration while ensuring adherence to local legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and induction of employees.
• Handle all HR-related documentation, employee records, contracts, and personnel files.
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain Labour Law, LMRA regulations, GOSI requirements, and other relevant government regulations.
• Process and manage LMRA applications, work permits, visa renewals, transfers, cancellations, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with government authorities and agencies regarding labor and immigration matters.
• Maintain attendance, leave management, payroll inputs, and employee benefits administration.
• Support performance management processes, employee evaluations, and disciplinary procedures.
• Address employee grievances and promote positive employee relations.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives and legal requirements.
• Monitor workforce planning and manpower requirements for fabrication and project operations.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety policies within the workplace.
• Prepare HR reports, manpower statistics, and management updates as required.
• Support training and development initiatives to improve employee skills and productivity.
• Assist management in workforce budgeting, succession planning, and talent retention strategies.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably within the fabrication, manufacturing, steel, engineering, or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of Bahrain Labour Law, LMRA procedures, work permits, visas, and employee compliance requirements.
• Experience handling blue-collar and skilled workforce recruitment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR management systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR functions effectively.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in fabrication workshops, steel structures, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience dealing with labor inspections, compliance audits, and government authorities in Bahrain.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
